Better known as "Hollywood". In country 9-68 through 6-69. When arrived in country C company was doing helicopter assaults. Trautwein was captain. Later became more pacifist and tried to friendly up with the natives. Best duty came when we worked around the coast near the South China Sea. Went home early courtesy of the other guys. Worked with Beale, Kirksey, Schroeder, JJ, Cox, Segundo, Kehoe and many others. Glenn came in later and he made a good officer. Segundo and I used to engage in spirited cont sts with the M-79. Probably partially responsible for federal debt. Remember Hill 55, Meade River, Dodge City (bad area) Marble Mountain.

In country 1/17/69 through 8/5/70. Your math is right. Supposed to have transferred to Freedom Hill as an MP but my congressman didn't see it that well. Started off with Froggy, JJ, Segundo and Cox in the first squad and part of some fire team. MCRD latoon 2027, BITC, ATR and Recon school at end of "69. Went through numerous names and faces. Ended second tour with "Oso", Richard Guest, Chump, John Evans, Docs Jay and Brown, Lt. Lamb, James Flagamanny Ceasaro and a continued cast of characters.
